Watershed Development Component – Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojna (WDC-PMKSY): Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana-Watershed Development Component (WDC-PMKSY)erstwhile Integrated Watershed Management Programme is a centrally sponsored scheme (CSS) formulated by the Department of Land Resources, Govt. of India. The main aims & objectives of this programme are to restore the ecological balance by harnessing, conserving and developing degraded natural resources such as soil, vegetative cover and water.
